My Mellow Monday at Central Park

I made it a goal this weekend to be productive. I've been doing more wedding stuff like address envelopes, etc. Today, I decided to make an effort to enjoy the delightful day. I dragged a friend and we went over to New York City's most well-known park, Central Park!

After brunch, we walked through Central Park for a couple of hours encountering a whole lot of interesting things. First, we saw a woman walking a domestic cat on a leash. Yes, that's right...a cat on a leash! We were too slow to get our phones out to take a picture. Then, we watched several street performers from violinists to break dancers and jazz saxophonists to an acapella children's choir.

It's been SO long since I've been to the park. I realized that I haven't been to the park at all during the summer!

I want to make more of an effort to do more "New Yorky" things before I leave. From now on, I''ll be more proactive!!
